Pastor,

After much discussion, The Gathering, a Church Life Resources event hosted by the North Texas District has been postponed until a later date in 2012.  We regret any inconvenience this postponement may have caused you.

Several factors contributed to the decision to postpone this event.  First, The Gathering immediately follows the Annual North Texas Minister’s Retreat being held at Tanglewood.  This unfortunate scheduling conflict forced many pastors to decide between attending one or the other of the two events.  Second, due to the present economic climate, the expense of travel, lodging and food to bring a full team of leaders to The Gathering placed undue financial hardships on many of our churches desiring to attend.

We are in discussion with Lakeview Camp and Conference Center regarding possible 2012 dates.  This all-inclusive venue would provide a more economical alternative for churches of all sizes desiring to participate.
