MISSION STATEMENT

To serve, resource, and assist the local church in providing ministries that attract, reach, and disciple children and their families.

OBJECTIVES

• To be a resource for the local church and children’s leader.
• To provide coordination of all ministries to children within our district.
• To network with children’s evangelists, pastors, and workers to “reach kids until He comes”.
• To promote missions training for children.
• To cultivate effective and meaningful Bible training for children.
• To teach, train, develop and encourage leaders at all levels of children’s ministry.
• To conduct kid's camps filled to capacity, in order to reach as many children as possible.
• To provide ongoing support for the children of ministers.
• To encourage the development and expression of talents and gifts in children.
• To see each department create specific events that meet the coordinated objectives of the Division of Children’s Ministries.
• To facilitate communication, coordination, and cooperation among district departmental entities involved in children’s ministries.
• To advance Children’s Ministry in the churches by providing a network of area and local resource persons.
• To provide for the networking of ideas, information,resources, and personnel among children’s workers throughout the district.
• To help local churches connect with the General Council and other national children’s ministries and resources.
