Krisz Simonfalvi
Krisz was born and raised in Budapest, Hungary into a Pentecostal Pastor’s home. Having experienced the oppressive power of communism and the government’s cultural pressure on the Church, he developed a keen sense for authentic Pentecostalism and cultural relevance through music and worship. Both of his grandfathers were saved in the late 1930s, as the Swedish Pentecostal Revival swept through Europe. He carried this generational legacy into his 7 years of missions’ service with YWAM in the 1990s. ...
After moving to North Texas, he was a member of Trinity Church of Cedar Hill from 1999 to 2023, where he was instrumental in developing Trinity’s world-renown worship culture. Krisz took on a new assignment in December 2023, becoming the Worship Director for King’s Dallas, working closely with the Global Senior Pastor of King’s, Dr. James Marocco, while also traveling the world to train the 700+ King’s Extensions around the globe.
Krisz is an accomplished musician, who has toured all over Europe and the U.S. with several bands and has over 450 songs to his name as a songwriter, studio musician and producer. In 2009 he placed 2nd in Guitar Player Magazine’s Guitar Superstar competition, out of 6,000+ contestants from all over America. He repeated that feat in 2011 in Lee Ritenour’s Six String Theory global guitar competition, in the Rock category.
He launched One Less Rock Music Studio in 2009, where he taught 350+ private students, over 5,000 masterclass attendees, while training multiple National Fine Arts competition winners on Guitar, and coaching bands who consistently placed top 3 at Nationals. In 2018, Krisz shifted his focus to developing Music 360 Method, an online training and mentorship pipeline for Worship Teams.
Krisz was asked to take on the role of Worship Coordinator for NTAG in 2022. He has been happily married to his wife, Lisa, since 1998.
