Message from the Superintendent

As spiritual leaders, we carry the sacred responsibility of protecting the children, teens, and young adults entrusted to our care. Under the Superintendent’s Initiative on Minors Protection and Well-Being, we are calling every pastor in North Texas to engage in assessing and strengthening the safety of their ministries. 

Through our partnership with Ministry Safe, we’ve developed a simple survey to help you evaluate your church’s child protection practices—from screening staff and volunteers to implementing enforceable safety policies. This diagnostic tool, along with practical resources, is designed to help you build a safer environment for every young person in your care.
