Michelle Garland
Michelle joined the North Texas District as the Children’s Director in 2015. Previously serving on staff at Radiant Church in AZ as the Family Life Pastor, she has over 12 years of experience working with Children and Families in ministry. She is an Ordained Minister with the Assemblies of God; has her Bachelor’s Degree from SAGU in Church Ministry; and M.A. in Counseling from Northern Arizona University.

Ryan Frank
Ryan Frank is a pastor, publisher, and entrepreneur who founded KidzMatter, a global ministry serving over 80 denominations by equipping churches to disciple children for Jesus Christ. Alongside his wife, Beth, he co-publishes KidzMatter Magazine and co-founded the KidzMatter Conference. They live in Converse, Indiana, with their three daughters, while also managing a car wash business and a real estate firm specializing in multi-family housing across the Midwest.

Taylor Johnson
Johnson is still alive because of the people who made him laugh and shared their stories. For 17 years Taylor has traveled the country as a comedian, sharing stories and making people laugh in churches, conferences, camps, house shows, and school assemblies. For the last two years Taylor has traveled with a storytelling show about mental health and Mister Rogers called Strong Feelings About Being Alive. Laughter can make it easier to talk about the messy and embarrassing parts of life. Born in a hospital, raised in San Antonio, TX, graduated from SAGU (Nelson) , and currently living in Wichita, KS (and for that he apologizes to everyone in Texas).

Ryan and Jackie Hughes
Ryan and Jackie Hughes serve as the Kids Pastors at Oaks Church in Red Oak, TX. Ryan has been in kids ministry since 2016 and is a curriculum writer and content creator for projects like Life.Church Kids, the Kids Bible Experience, Orange, and the Bible Engagement Project, a camp speaker, and an adjunct professor at CFNI teaching kids ministry. They’re parents of two, and when Ryan’s not creating or teaching, he’s probably rock climbing.
