Job Description:
Elevate Church started in 2008 as a new church plant in the northeast part of the Dallas Metro and now is home to about 250+ people. Our Easter attendance was 433 worshippers. We currently have a staff of 5 pastors who serve either part-time or full-time. Our target audience is young families between 25-45 years of age (although we have all ages). We are a multi-cultural, Spirit-filled church affiliated with the Assemblies of God. However, many of our attendees come from diverse religious backgrounds or none at all. We also have a bold vision to reach our community and world for Christ. Our website is www.MyElevateChurch.com
What makes us who we are?
Culture of Entrepreneurship
Since our inception, we have always been willing to try things that are new and “out of the box”. We think like church planters when it comes to experimenting with fresh ideas in order to reach people and make our church relevant to our community.
Culture of Reaching the Unreached and Unchurched
Our unique mission is to be a church for people who are unreached or unchurched. The average church in America is focused primarily on reaching the 40% of people who are church attenders. We are intentional about focusing on the 60% who aren’t. Matthew 9:13 “For I have not come to call the righteous but sinners.”
Culture of Teamwork
We believe passionately in doing church as a team; therefore, as a staff we work to not only to grow ourselves but to make each other better. We do this through authentic relationships. Our desire as leaders is to move from doer, to equipper, to multiplier. We teach our core values of Teamwork to every volunteer and leader. They include: Invitation (welcome new people), Connection (build relationships), Motivation (equip and encourage), Preparation (spirit of excellence), and Celebration (celebrate every win). We call them the High Fives of Teamwork. John 17:20-21 “My prayer is…that all of them may be one, Father, just as you are in me and I am in you. May they also be in us so that the world may believe that you sent me.”
Culture of Personal and Ministry Growth
We believe that change and the Kingdom are linked. Wholeheartedly following Jesus means constantly and intentionally engaging change in our lives. Growth requires change. Things that are not growing are dead. Living a vibrant life with Christ means becoming more like Him continually. The moment we think we’ve arrived is the moment we start to die. Colossians 1:10 “Then the way you live will always honor and please the Lord, and your lives will produce every kind of good fruit. All the while, you will grow as you learn to know God better and better.”
Culture of Vulnerability and Transparency
When people begin to relate with us as a group, they tend to be taken back by the transparency of our relationships. We believe that living in the light includes making sure there are no hidden things that trick us into a false sense of righteousness. The first thing recorded in the Bible that God said was, “Let there be light” - God works in the light but the enemy works in the darkness. 1 John 1:7 “If we walk in the light as he is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus his son purifies us from all sin.

Email: [email protected]
Priscilla Tshitenge. I was born in the Democratic Republic of Congo and raised in the U.S. with my family. We grew up in a Christian household where my parents instilled faith values that led me to accept Christ personally as my Lord and Savior. Today, my family and I actively serve in our local church. I currently serve as a worship leader, plan events, and help manage the youth and choir finances.
I’m currently pursuing my bachelor's degree in Business Management. I'm fluent in both English and French, and I’m comfortable using Microsoft Excel.
Ammar Dyson
My name is Ammar Dyson. My wife Precious and I, along with our four children, moved to Texas exactly one year ago with a clear sense of calling to plant a Spirit-filled church in the North Texas region by Fall 2027. Prior to relocating, I served as a Campus Pastor at Lifepoint Church in Fredericksburg, VA, where I helped revitalize a post-COVID campus—growing from 90 to over 250 in just five months through Spirit-led leadership, discipleship, and strategic outreach.
As we prepare to plant, I’m seeking a ministry staff role where I can serve wholeheartedly, add value, and grow under healthy leadership for the next 12–18 months. Our desire is to be part of a life-giving church where we can contribute our pastoral experience, communication gifting, and operational leadership—and be developed, covered, and sent in due season.
If you’re looking for a team member who brings both heart and strategy, I’d love to connect and explore what God might do together.
Saehee Duran
I am a first-generation immigrant and an ordained minister, married to a fourth-generation Assemblies of God pastor for over two decades. We have three beautiful children who love and serve God in local churches. I have a Doctor of Ministry and bring diverse experiences in church ministry, community engagement, and Christian higher education. I had served as a church planter, children's and youth pastor, associate pastor, lead pastor, chaplain, and also served in various national AG ministries. I have served at Nelson University until recently as Director of Admissions Recruitment. God has used this job to bring us to Waxahachie, and now He is calling me back to my first love of ministry. Since my husband is serving as Executive pastor at Dallas First Assembly, I am looking for a ministry that will complement, not conflict, with his calling. An ideal ministry would be something that I can invest in and give my time during the weekdays while allowing me to worship with my family on Sundays. I am passionate about discipling the next generation and serving and welcoming intercultural peoples as part of God's family. I also love preaching and teaching.

In February 2025, I received my certification through the OK Assemblies of God. I am currently working on my licensing.
After all these years of being a lead volunteer, God has made it clear that He is moving our family to full time ministry. We are stoked to see where God takes us!
