Glad Tidings Church is a growing, Spirit-filled, multisite Assemblies of God church serving the greater Austin area. Our Leander Campus is located in one of the fastest-growing communities in Central Texas, just north of Austin.

We are looking for a Worship Pastor/Director who wants to do more than lead songs. This is an opportunity to help shape the worship culture of a growing campus, develop musicians and leaders, and build a ministry that will serve the church for years to come.

Primary Responsibilities Include:

• Lead worship during both Sunday morning services and designated special services or events.

• Work closely with the Campus Pastor to plan worship services that support the overall direction and message of the service.

• Prayerfully select songs, create set lists, prepare arrangements, and lead weekly rehearsals.

• Recruit, train, schedule, pastor, and develop musicians and vocalists.

• Create a healthy worship-team culture marked by spiritual growth, preparation, unity, humility, and excellence.

• Identify and develop new worship leaders, musicians, vocalists, and next-generation leaders.

• Manage worship-service preparation and volunteer scheduling through Planning Center Services.

• Collaborate with the production team in areas such as sound, livestreaming, presentation software, stage preparation, and service execution.

• Help strengthen systems and communication for Sunday services, rehearsals, and special events.

• Participate in staff meetings, prayer gatherings, ministry events, and the broader life of Glad Tidings Church.

• Support the vision, values, and ministry direction of Glad Tidings Church and the Leander Campus.

And able to think and work outside of the box.

Job Requirements:

• A growing and evident relationship with Jesus Christ.

• Agreement with the beliefs, values, and Spirit-filled ministry of Glad Tidings Church and the Assemblies of God.

• Proven experience leading worship in a local-church setting.

• A strong lead vocalist who is also proficient on guitar or keys...or willing to learn.

• The ability to lead both a congregation and a team, not simply perform music.

• A heart for developing volunteers and helping others grow in their gifts and calling.

• Spiritual maturity, humility, integrity, dependability, and strong pastoral character.

• Strong organizational, communication, and relational skills.

• The ability to receive direction, collaborate with church leadership, and function as part of a staff team.

• Familiarity with Planning Center Services, tracks, in-ear monitoring, presentation software, livestreaming, and modern worship technology is preferred.

• Assemblies of God credentials, ministry education, or a willingness to pursue credentials is preferred but not required.

Youth have a nice youth center space with projectors, screens, lights, stage, instruments, sound system, etc.

Primary Responsibilities Include:

Lead our weekly youth services including prepare material for small group breakouts after the message and before games. Prepare engaging Biblically sound teaching that builds faith Romans 10:17

Serve with our incredible youth leadership team of currently 8 adults. Trained, background checked, etc. Our leaders serve in various aspects of the service (opening, game, prayer, giving, transitions, etc.)

The youth pastor does not run the entire service. it is expected that youth leadership team and student leadership team be scheduled on planning center for various portions of the service. We are a TEAM church. We develop and lead teams. We seek out leadership potential, call it out, equip people to serve, call them higher, and then they do the same. Ministry pipelines!!

Elevate Church started in 2008 as a new church plant in the northeast part of the Dallas and now is home to over 250 people. Our highest attendance so far in 2026 is Easter Sunday with 452 in two services. Our second highest Sunday is Mother’s Day with 352 in two services. Position Summary:

The Children’s Ministry Director/Pastor oversees all aspects of the Elevate Church Children’s Ministry, covering children from birth to fifth grade. This includes the development and execution of the strategic ministry plans and objectives for the children’s ministry, ensuring that they align with the vision and mission of Elevate Church. This role will also seek to create a partnership with parents to disciple children. In addition, the Children’s Ministry Director has overall responsibility for the professional, administrative and ministerial growth of the leaders and volunteers for the Children’s ministry.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities For Director/Pastor of Children’s Ministry:

Overall responsibility for the children’s ministry, including the planning, content, flow and overall execution of the Sunday morning and mid-week children’s programs.

Continuously identify, develop and implement technical, process and policy enhancements to the children’s ministry.

Primary responsibility for the safety and security of the children under the care of the children’s ministry, with additional responsibility for the safety and security of the greater Elevate Church organization.

Final responsibility for the planning and execution of all children’s ministry special events, including children’s camps, volunteer staff events, kids fine arts, etc.

Lead the recruitment, assessment, development and motivation of the volunteers and leaders who assist in the development and execution of the children’s ministry plan.

Final responsibility for the development and management of the children’s ministry budget.

Minimum Qualifications:

Must possess and model the qualities described in 1 Timothy 3:1-7 and Titus 1:7-9.

Experience in the areas of leadership, organizational strategy, operations, process improvement, and project management.

Must be a self –initiator, coachable, and solid team player

Must be a consistent team builder who is able to multiply leaders

Solid relationship management experience, essential to balance the needs of the ministry with the expectations and needs of the staff, volunteers, children and parents.
